Outdoor surveillance cameras

Designed around what you need to see

We review entrances, priority areas, lighting and camera positions. The aim is useful footage, with suitable equipment and storage for your property.

Recording and remote viewing

We configure recording and user access to the agreed scope. Camera connectivity is planned with the network so guest Wi-Fi does not provide access to security equipment.

A clear handover

We show you how to view footage and use the agreed features. Camera placement and signage requirements are considered during planning.

Installation questions

Where are CCTV recordings stored?

In the Los Naranjos and Las Lomas projects, the cameras connect to a network video recorder, or NVR. Storage is sized around camera numbers and recording requirements.

How many days will an NVR retain recordings?

Disk capacity alone does not determine retention. Resolution, compression, camera numbers and continuous or event recording also affect it. We agree the configuration for each installation.

Can camera cabling be hidden during renovation?

Yes. At Los Naranjos, we chased routes during the renovation to connect eight cameras to the separate garage. Planning before finishes are complete helps keep the installation discreet.

Los Naranjos, Marbella. Security built into the renovation.

During renovations at this Los Naranjos villa, MTL was asked to retrofit the cabling for eight Hikvision ColorVu Hybrid cameras. The challenge was to bring the camera connections across the property to a separate, adjacent garage housing the recording equipment.

Installation and support on the Costa del Sol

MTL Funciona installs Wi-Fi networks, cameras and smart systems for homes, offices, hotels, hospitality and retail. Site visits are by appointment at your property. Support and maintenance requirements are agreed when defining the project.
